What a delightful little grocery store! Nice baked goods. The place is so clean, and so well organized. Everything looks and smells fresh. They have a large variety of food and beverages. Love it!
Gooseberries is locally owned, one of a kind grocery store. It's interesting because it is located Wisconsin lake country near Browns lake and not far from Lake Geneva. It isn't huge but the selection is good. It does a nice job balancing food/goods for the lake visiting customers as well as providing all the necessities for folks who visit it year round. What stands out about Gooseberries is their super friendly staff. They also have a lovely and reasonably large selection of wine. Their alcohol and deli/meat section feels like a grocery store within a grocery store. But within that, they have a thriving sandwich shop that makes all sorts of hot and cold sandwiches which are actually really delicious. Also I hope they never stop selling the dark chocolate hummus which sounds weird but is surprisingly awesome. They also have what appears to be a very busy and active catering service. If you stop by, I would recommend: Getting a deli sandwich Picking up a bag of cookies near the checkout counter
Stopped here for a quick sandwich and I was completely blown away with all the options. This is a crazy awesome fully stocked grocery store that has a small town feel to it. I couldn't believe all the micro beers they were offering and all the growlers they had available. Can't wait to come back and try more sandwiches. Got turkey so good
I was there for Dinner one day with a friend. We had soup and sandwich. The soup is always tasty and fresh. My sandwich was delicious full of flavor and on great bread. The choices. Are many. The only thing was menu is overwhelming. But you can pretty much make anything up. Will be back so good
